What makes the Atlanta Jazz party so
unique? If you are among the guests,
you will be sure to hear at least 20 of
the finest musicians in the world,
playing 30-minute sets stretching over
without rehearsal and paired with
musicians with whom they'd never
played before. A sense of what would
work musically. Philip & Pualani Carroll

our formula

here are A few of our Performers-now over 200 all stars have graced the AJP stage

People often ask "what makes a "party" vs. a "festival"  Our party affords you the chance to see any one of 20 All Stars on one stage in any one of six sessions over the three day weekend where never a tune is repeated and all performers appear in all sessions. Our recipe for selecting our performers is quite simple as dad put it..."they have to be a famous "all star", be good and above all be nice. If you aren't all three then you ain't in"

"Our Clients include Westin (Starwood Resorts), Price Waterhouse Coopers, Atlanta's Chastain Horse Club, Chukkar Farms Polo Club, The Atlanta Country Club, Pastis Dining and Dancing in Historic Roswell, Party Chic of Roswell and the City of Roswell"

A recipe for a great party

April 22,23+24,2016

The Grand Ballroom of the DoubleTree by Hilton in Roswell, GA transforms into a cabaret jazz hall with superb combos of Hot Swingin’ classic improvisational jazz for your listening and dancing pleasure. All-star line-ups will play seven sets on Friday night, seven sets on Saturday afternoon, seven sets on Saturday night, and seven sets on Sunday. All performers are featured in each session.
In the swinging, Atlanta Jazz Party! Hot Jazz tradition, we’re pleased to announce the 2016 lineup, AJP first timer from New York City, the lovely and talented Molly Ryan, swinging New Orleans Trumpet player Duke Heitger along with Ed PolcerDan Barrett and John Allred on trombone. Ed Metz and Danny Coots on drums. Welcoming back favorites to the AJP, on clarinet, Evan Christopher and Tom Fischer! On guitar Chris Flory and Randy Napoleon. Bassists Jim Ferguson and of course Paul Keller. Award-winning jazz pianist Rossano Sportiello. Of course the lineup would not be complete without John Cocuzzi on vibes, piano and vocals..
We always try to work our local talent into the program and a surprise guest from time to to time is not uncommon. We're never sure who might show. Joe Gransden and his 16 Piece Big Band is making an appearance for certain on Sunday so get your tickets soon.  AJP Hotline 770-645-6844 or 770-366-0206
