Pualani and I could not be prouder to bring you all what was one of the most memorable events of our lives. The 23nd Atlanta Jazz Party! The response from all of you was unanimous. Many of you shared that you thought it was the best AJP to date. Thank you all for your support. We could not do it without the support of our Patrons and Guarantors. To be quite clear....the financial support provided by this group is what is keeping us going. We wish to extend a big Thank You to those Guarantors and Patrons that paid in advance for next year. We intend to continue this as long as we have the support but we suffered this year. To make plans for 2013 we need your support now. I feel that the appetite for our jazz is there and with your help we will make it another 20 Years!

"this year's all-star line-up - "Wall Street Journal reads...One of the major living jazz singers, Vocalist Rebecca Kilgore" will join us again; Crooner Freddy Cole will be there for what is sure to be a memorable Pizzarelli-Cole reunion performance; Returning this year one of our favorite bassist, Richard Simon. The artists he's performed with at festivals, concerts, nightclubs, and recording sessions is a veritable 'Who's Who' of the mainstream and traditional jazz worlds; John Allred and Russ Phillips on trombone; And the swing of vibraphone and drummer Chuck Redd who recently released his new CD "When Redd is Blue" featuring Harry Allen who is also in this years lineup. Joining the lineup are long-time AJP favorites Ed Polcer, Bob Schulz, Jon-Erik Kellso and Duke Heitger on cornet; Allan Vaché, and Harry Allen on reeds; Of course the lineup would not be complete withoutJohn Cocuzzi on vibes, vocals and piano along with Mark Shane and Rosanno Sportiello; On guitar none other than Matt Munisteri and Bucky Pizzarelli are featured; Ed Metz Jr. on drums rounds out this years ALL Star Lineup! Music is in the tradition of Hot! Chicago/New York, BG Quartet, West Coast, New Orleans jazz bands and Swing combos. We're delighted to announce that, Atlanta's own, Joe Gransden, will make a guest appearance along with his band! We couldn't be more happy to have him come and bring many of his Atlanta gang! As if that's not enough, we're adding Francine Reed, to the lineup for your listening pleasure! Please welcome them!
