Happy Spring Jazz Lovers!

We want to thank all of our Patrons, Guarantors and Fans for a great 24th last year. If perhaps you noticed we didn't send our customary thank you note via US mail. We feel one mailing a year along with 24/7 web access is adequate to communicate our HUGE appreciation and the BIG News, The Full ALL STAR Lineup for our 25th Anniversary Celebration!!

In order to keep LIVE JAZZ ALIVE, We are pleading for our patrons and guarantors to get your reservations in. Our Policy remains "First Come First Served" and the secret is out. Atlanta now knows about the Atlanta Jazz Party! Tables are going fast.

In the swinging, Atlanta Jazz Party! Hot Jazz tradition, we're pleased to announce two magnificent AJP freshman performers. On Guitar, Randy Napoleon...George Benson said: "I like the guitar player who's playing with Freddy Cole [Randy Napoleon]. He has an all-fingers approach; he doesn't use just thumb or pick. He's spectacular".

Trumpeter extraordinaire Bria Skonberg, who will amaze us all is joining us. "Bria Skonberg looks like a Scandinavian angel, plays trumpet like a red hot devil, and sings like a dream. Her new album "So Is The Day" reveals that she's also a very capable band leader and composer."-Will Friedwald, The Wall Street Journal

Joining the lineup are long-time AJP favorites Ed Polcer and Duke Heitger on cornet; Allan Vaché, and Dan Block on reeds; Of course the lineup would not be complete without Ed Metz Jr. and Danny Coots on drums. John Cocuzzi on vibes, vocals and piano along with Rosanno Sportiello; AJP favorite The Great Bob Havens returns on trombone and may be in for quite a surprise when we present him with his Atlanta Jazz Party Lifetime Achievement Award! AJP favorite Dan Barrett will be in the lineup . "Wall Street Journal reads...One of the major living jazz singers, Vocalist " Rebecca Kilgore will join us again ; Crooner Freddy Cole will be there for what is sure to be a memorable Pizzarelli-Cole reunionperformance; Returning this year one of our favorite bassist, Frank Tate as well as Paul "Killer" Keller .

Music is in the tradition of Chicago/New York, BG Quartet, West Coast, New Orleans jazz bands and combos. All-star line-ups will play eight sets on Friday night, seven sets on Saturday afternoon, eight sets on Saturday night, and seven sets on Sunday. All performers get featured in each session. Atlanta Jazz Party! Guarantors and Patrons get to attend all four sessions plus the exclusive Saturday morning jazz brunch just for patrons, guarantors and musicians.
