FRANK VIGNOLA is from Long Island. He began playing guitar at age 5. At 12 he took up the banjo and swiftly burst on the music scene. Dedicated to traditional jazz, he was influenced by Charlie Christian, Joe Pass, Django Reinhart, Bucky Pizzarelli and Eric Clapton. He has recorded and toured with Max Morath and Leon Redbone. Frank has played and recorded with a variety of artists such as Chet Atkins, Madonna, Woody Allen, Ringo Starr, Les Paul, Lionel Hampton and countless other jazz legends. In '95 he created a jazz guitar program for Arizona State Univ. Frank is among the top ranked guitarists in jazz today.
