Ashley Locheed earned her degree in Vocal Performance from Stetson University and has been performing and teaching classical and popular music since 1994. She performs at local venues such as the Portofino Hotel Waterfront, The Vines, The Ritz-Carleton, J.W. Marriott Hotel, and Timpano; and her band, The Ashley Locheed Quartet can be heard at jazz festivals, corporate, and private events.
Ashley has also performed professionally with The Voices of Liberty at Epcot Center, The Bobby Mercer Orchestra, Soul Funktion R&B band, The Paul Vesco Orchestra, The Big Idea band at Atlantic Dance Hall, Timpano's Jazz Trio, Friends of Jazz, The Big Apple Band, The Voiceovers at Disney/MGM Studios, The Happy Campers at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Skyline at Walt Disney World, Double Date at Universal Studios, and The Swing Sisters, the 1940's style a capella trio which was featured on Fox TV's 30 Seconds to Fame and performed for the 2005 Superbowl VIP pre-show. Ashley has also performed the National Anthem for the Orlando Magic at the Amway Arena.
Ashley is passionate about helping young artists find their own voice, free their creativity, and connect with the audience. She is both a vocal technician and a performance coach, giving students a balanced approach to the artistry of singing and the freedom and fun of live performance.
