Dan Levinson is from LA but now lives in NY. He has been leader and sideman and his roster of musical associates includes Mel Torme, Wynton Marsalis and Dick Hyman. His 15 year association with "Rosey" McHargue taught him most of what he knows about music and life. He has played with Woody Allen's band worldwide, and toured with Leon Redbone from 1990 to 2002. Dan has been with Vince Giordano's Nighthawks since 1993. He has presented Benny Goodman tributes on the East Coast with Stan Rubin and in Germany with Audry Hermlin. He has recorded 40 CDs and can be heard on the sound tracks of the films "Ghost World", "The Cat's Meow" and "The Aviator".
