GREG COHEN grew up in Los Angeles, CA, where he did stints with Jack Sheldon, Teddy Edwards, Conte Condoll, Shelly Manne, Mel Powell, Victor Feldman and Pete folly. He also worked with pop artists like Tom Waits, Crystal Gayle and Bette Midler. Now residing in New Jersey, Greg has worked with David Sanborn, Marty Grosz, Keith Richards, Doc Cheatham, Kenny Davern, Jacki and Roy, Ken Peplowski, Lou Reed, Soprano Summit Reunion, Annie Ross and Bucky Pizzarelli. Also working as arranger, Greg's worked on the movie"Fried Green Tomatoes," for Lincoln Center, the Thalia Theater in Hamburg and the Brooklyn Academy of Music. This year will find him in films by Robert Altman (Shortcuts) and Wim Winders (Far Away So Close).
